For a long time, it was believed that the Colca Canyon was the deepest canyon on earth, but it turned out that the nearby Cotahuasi Canyon is even deeper.
In any case, the Colca Canyon is an attraction and walking there is a unique experience.
It is quite a strenuous effort, however, - after all it is situated at a height of approximately 3500 meters and acclimatisation is essential.

    Hello!

I so dream of travelling to places as beautiful as the ones that are on this site, for I too love photography too. While I have little training, I have an uncanny way of capturing beautiful pictures. I think I have sort of “an eye” for it, or whatever it is they say. It’s like my soul is right there when the shutter clicks…It really is!

I have alot of great ones, and I was wondering if you could help me “Get them out there?” I’d like to have them published, bought, etc., and would sure like to know where to start. Can you or anyone else help me? My family and I would sure appreciate it.

You see, I am disabled and have been for many years now, and I can’t work anymore. My absolute relief comes from photography and shooting video. I’ve lost count of how many CD’s I’ve collected during 2007, and I’m sure 2008 will be no exception.

I may not be able to “Do much,” but I can sure take pictures and it makes me so happy.

If anyone could get me started, I would sure be thankful. Thanks.

    Sincerely,
    Mrs. Karen S. Anderson
    /ka
