    Hi Loved your Aus. photos especially this one. They have some very funny ones i thought when I was there last year. I especially loved the one you see a lot on the outback roads in QLD - it said “Passenger - Is your driver awake ?” … t used to make me think — oh hang on i’l just check ! Often when I was the driver !

    Going back Aug 2008 … can’t wait !

Ghats of Varanasi, before sunrise

Varanasi is maybe the "holiest" place in Hinduism. Many people believe that "death in Varanasi is Liberation" meaning that if you are cremated here, you have a good chance to escape the cycle of rebirth. Consequently, many people come here to die, dead are brought here for cremation and there are millions of pilgrims.
