Nazca lines - Colibri
There are many theories regarding the purpose of these lines. Were they built for the gods to see? Or for shamans who "flew" over them in drug induced dreams? I really like your Galway Rainbow shot. My boyfriend and I walked down that road along the pretty row houses during our visit last autumn and were fortunate to get a photo of a woman taking her dog out for a walk. Such a mundane thing.. taking the dog out for a walk.. but the shot said more to me about typical Galway life than anything else. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

This shot of the Long Walk in Galway is quite captivating. I like the balance of the rainbow and clouds in the far-ground with the two Galway swans (who live year-round, by the way, in the confluence of the River Corrib and Galway Bay) in the foreground. The street on the left and the river on the right is another noteworthy balance within the picure. And the distant boat shows the roots of the town. Quite lovely.
